With the ability to simultaneously record 28 pristine digital tracks (unlimited audio tracks can be recorded in groups of 28) Sound-Board cater for a range of recording requirements, from solo piano to small ensemble. our rates are competative and start at just £20/hour.

We have a number of classically trained musicians who can work with singer/songwriters to help with arrangements and make their ideas into recordings.

On the recording side; we have the latest 32-channel digital audio mixing desk and a state-of-the art audio-optimised computer running the latest multi-track digital audio recording software and MIDI sequencers as well as hundreds of real-time FX processors. Everything is mixed and mastered digitally on our computers (see right for selected list of equipment).

Working from your existing sequences, MIDI files, or your original recording, was can add voice or instrumentation, and finish with a professionally mastered CD. As well as providing a massive range of timbres for performers wanting to use the studio's own instruments we have support for those wanting to bring their own instruments with them to the studio session.

Sound-Board can also record the spoken word and has already recorded many voice-over projects for corporate presentations, promotions, sales briefings, management communications and training programmes. We can also provide specially composed music to suit your company or product.

At the end of the recording session we will provide you with a digital copy of your song on CD or DAT as well as an analogue cassette if required. We can also offer limited CD production runs if that's what you want.If you're running a musical show or concert and you can't get an orchestra or band to accompany your singers; or you're rehearsing a show and cannot find accompanist; just ask Sound-Board. We can provide you with hi-quality digital recordings of your required backing on DAT, CD or MiniDisk in any key and at the tempo to suit your needs.
